The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliusz Mietus struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaxy Team U18. After 7 minutes of play, Panama's Tomas Berganza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Gierlach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matthew Garrido made in the 17th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galaxy Team U18's Fryderyk Wolicki. 24 minutes into the match, Galaxy Team U18's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Lucjan Gierlach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Wasyl Dubiel got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Furgat came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After the first half Panama were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Furgat made a kick off. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Furgat, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56th minute, Leonard Furgat made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Wasyl Dubiel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucjan Gierlach skillfully saved the ball. Lucjan Gierlach was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Lucjan Gierlach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 71st minute of play forced Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper Lucjan Gierlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Furgat came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panama's Abraham Alguacil got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lucjan Gierlach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Marek Skoroda got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Gierlach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Damian Malewicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Panama left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Galaxy Team U18.
