Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ron McLeish in the 6th minute of play. Camilo Freixa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler McCraw, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 12 minutes into the game, Bradley Carr threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bolivia's Francisco Gallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 16 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. After 17 played minutes, Rangers FC's Ron McLeish shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Freixa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rangers FC reached it. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Fergus Fairbairn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 24th minute, Mario Fernandino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fergus Fairbairn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tyler McCraw blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Freixa having to make a save. Mario Fernandino took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fergus Fairbairn. Fergus Fairbairn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 36th minute, Connor Alsop hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Ferrant struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fergus Fairbairn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolivia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Gilespie in the 41st minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Chicote's late challenge caught a Rangers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. In the 43rd minute of the match Ron McLeish sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Freixa skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute Danny Gilespie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Danny Gilespie made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Benito Madrid hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Alfredo Ferrant had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Bolivia's Estefania Mancebo was substituted for Alfredo Ferrant. After 83 played minutes Rangers FC got a freekick which was hit by Angus Howison. Bolivia's Estefania Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Villa to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Danny Gilespie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danny Gilespie.
