Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valdemar Kallio got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Ferrando, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar Kallio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lasse Saarelainen. Lasse Saarelainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 11th minute Ciriaco Ferrando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Savon Palloseura's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Saarelainen came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Ferrando in the 18th minute of the match. Ciriaco Ferrando's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciriaco Ferrando helped the player get up and apologised. Ciriaco Ferrando kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lasse Saarelainen. Lasse Saarelainen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lasse Saarelainen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lasse Saarelainen, 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Savon Palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Lasse Saarelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Savon Palloseura's Ciriaco Ferrando in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Saarelainen having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Savon Palloseura's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Lasse Saarelainen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Andino made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Savon Palloseura's Lasse Saarelainen managed to reach the ball for a save. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Lasse Saarelainen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. In the 79th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Saarelainen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes Savon Palloseura's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Ferrando in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute, Ciriaco Ferrando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Unto Allen kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lasse Saarelainen prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
