Joel Gaona scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yavuz Selimhan Gulson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 16th minute of play forced FC KALELİ's goalkeeper Yavuz Selimhan Gulson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Bierhoff came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Guaberto Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC KALELİ's Yavuz Selimhan Gulson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 39th minute of play. Yavuz Selimhan Gulson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 42nd minute of the match. When Ahmet Nafiz Talayer fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC KALELİ's protests and gave Ahmet Nafiz Talayer a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes FC KALELİ got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Nafiz Talayer. FC KALELİ's Akay Derem was substituted for Vecdet Karaca. A collision led to FC KALELİ getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ahmet Nafiz Talayer hit a great ball. The FC KALELİ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patric Bierhoff stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. FC KALELİ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Yavuz Selimhan Gulson, making the score, 0-2. With his leg Yavuz Selimhan Gulson managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC KALELİ's Antoni Camarasa. But to his dismay, Antoni Camarasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Yavuz Selimhan Gulson made a huge save. In the 67th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yavuz Selimhan Gulson saved FC KALELİ from getting behind. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patric Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Yavuz Selimhan Gulson to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 90th minute of play forced FC KALELİ's goalkeeper Yavuz Selimhan Gulson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Ahmet Nafiz Talayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nazil Sağlamtürk's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nazil Sağlamtürk helped the player get up and apologised. Nazil Sağlamtürk kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
