After a defensive mix-up in FC Higher's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Pilgren came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Luca Espinar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roger Pilgren. The goal made the score 2-0. After 20 minutes of play, FC Higher's Esbjörn Sefastsson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd match minute, FC Higher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Hammarberg to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that FC Higher's Roger Pilgren managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of FC Higher booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Sefastsson scored 2-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lautaro Navarro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Roger Pilgren managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 47 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Higher's Roger Pilgren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esbjörn Sefastsson was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Jörn Eckegren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Higher's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. Jörn Eckegren hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Milagros Cabal scored 4-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Pilgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Oskar Haegg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
