Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richard Nixon took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torsten Henning in the 3rd minute of the match. Berthold Bach was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Edward Mcdonald capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edward Mcdonald really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Berthold Bach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SV Klingsmoos's Soner Ortaçgil got a free kick in the 9th minute. A collision led to SV Klingsmoos getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Soner Ortaçgil hit a great ball. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SV Klingsmoos from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in USA's zone, Torsten Henning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Day came out of the goal and Torsten Henning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Richard Nixon might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Day. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Nixon ran back to his position shaking his head. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Nixon in the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of SV Klingsmoos booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Berthold Bach in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Henning came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Torsten Henning made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. USA's Marco Day tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Torsten Henning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torsten Henning in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute SV Klingsmoos were awarded a corner. Ghitã Pârlea went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 66th minute, Ghitã Pârlea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SV Klingsmoos's Erik Amend was substituted for Börje Bührer. In the 68th match minute, SV Klingsmoos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghitã Pârlea to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match Monty Rogers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berthold Bach skillfully saved the ball. 79 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Nixon. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Lebon in the 83rd minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Richard Nixon could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Marco Day however easily saved by the left post. Berthold Bach came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Zach Harrison. But to his dismay, Zach Harrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 92nd minute, SV Klingsmoos's Richard Nixon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3.
