Jairo Castellano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 10th minute of the match. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 14th minute of play. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Xulian Calvo made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Henrico Del Bosque hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute of the match, Luz Tejedor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jairo Castellano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Xabat Dobale hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Xulian Calvo got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Henrico Del Bosque. In the 44th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonso Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Jairo Castellano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. In the 50th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Getafe Deportivo's goalkeeper Jairo Castellano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Peru booed when Club Getafe Deportivo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vlad Ţăranu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonso Berganza made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Club Getafe Deportivo's Xulian Calvo. Luz Tejedor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Castellano having to interfere. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Club Getafe Deportivo's Iosu Bastida quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 90th minute of the game. 98 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Club Getafe Deportivo's Jairo Castellano. Jairo Castellano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Peru had played much better football throughout.
