Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Christian Burgo made the kick off which started today's match. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Burgo in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven McNamara who took care of the corner kick. Kwyjibo's Sven McNamara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Christian Burgo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Burgo in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Kwyjibo's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Sylwester Wawro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Burgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Kwyjibo's Sylwester Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven McNamara was slow to take the kick. During this time Kwyjibo's players had a chance to rest. Kwyjibo's Sven McNamara was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylwester Wawro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Gil Vital made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Chile's Gerardo Pozo. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Manzanedo in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Kwyjibo's Mathias Jakobsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Burgo in the 37th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mathias Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Kwyjibo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Christian Burgo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute, Christian Burgo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 57 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sven McNamara who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Kwyjibo's corner Sven McNamara fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Thiago Pliego quite easily take care of the ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Burgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylwester Wawro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Kwyjibo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Obar Mudaffar to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manzanedo. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Burgo in the 77th minute of the match. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Burgo went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Sylwester Wawro in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 87 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sylwester Wawro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Burgo in the 90th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kwyjibo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
