In the 24th minute, Peng Sha Yang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes, Peng Sha Yang made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 31 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Peng Sha Yang came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute of play. Dionisia's Jimeno Dalmai managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Axel Montenegro in the 47 minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peng Sha Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Dionisia got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Florencio Chano ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 53rd minute of play forced Dionisia's goalkeeper Serafim Eanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kevin Mastache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafim Eanes having to interfere. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Dionisia's Arnaldo Beturian slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 0-2 after 66 minutes of play. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Denis Ereinotz struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dionisia. Cheng Xiong Yuan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Arnaldo Beturian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Serafim Eanes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 92nd minute of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Denis Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dionisia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Ereinotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Dionisia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Colombia.
