Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Kaczynski in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Grzegorz Skarpiak however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, ASTRONAUCI's Rafal Sikola got a free kick in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, ASTRONAUCI's goalkeeper Grzegorz Skarpiak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. After having played for 33 minutes, Boleslaw Zbytniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASTRONAUCI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boleslaw Zbytniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Boleslaw Zbytniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sertel Akçakıl was slow to take the kick. During this time ASTRONAUCI's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafal Sikola in the 45th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Zbytniewski in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute Rafal Sikola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ASTRONAUCI were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sertel Akçakıl took the corner. The corner ended in Sertel Akçakıl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grzegorz Skarpiak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafal Sikola in the 58th minute of play. ASTRONAUCI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sertel Akçakıl in the 60th minute. ASTRONAUCI's Sertel Akçakıl was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boleslaw Zbytniewski in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, ASTRONAUCI's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Grzegorz Skarpiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Grzegorz Skarpiak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafal Sikola. After 81 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sertel Akçakıl who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Boleslaw Zbytniewski advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ASTRONAUCI's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grzegorz Skarpiak came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing ASTRONAUCI to win.
