After 16 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Piearres. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Beturian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafim Eanes saved Dionisia from getting behind. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dionisia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Chile's corner Pedro Indiano fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Serafim Eanes quite easily take care of the ball. Lucio Garoa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dionisia. Dionisia made a substitution. Florencio Chano replaced Denis Ereinotz. Serafim Eanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dionisia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Serafim Eanes in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes, Florencio Chano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dionisia and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 83 played minutes Dionisia got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Chano. In the 86th minute Dionisia were awarded a corner. Florencio Chano went to the cornerflag to take it. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 88th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Melchor Gregory's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Dionisia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chile for a fine match.
