Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MALÉV SC's Kálmán Gyarmati was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, MALÉV SC's Vilmos Solti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kálmán Gyarmati stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kálmán Gyarmati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Ákos Szigeti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Kálmán Gyarmati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 18th minute of the match, Vilmos Solti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Ferrant was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of MALÉV SC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Koppány Szepesi in the 22nd minute. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Béla Pásztor took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Béla Pásztor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of MALÉV SC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilmos Solti in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kálmán Gyarmati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind MALÉV SC's goalkeeper Kálmán Gyarmati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as MALÉV SC's Benedek Asztalos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 after 40 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Béla Pásztor sent off a good shot on target. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Béla Pásztor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 51 minutes into the match, Béla Pásztor notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vilmos Solti scored 4-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 70 played minutes MALÉV SC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Theobald. In the 71st minute, Epifanio Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Tibor Fülöp cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Pásztor, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Béla Pásztor took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. MALÉV SC's Géza Veress was substituted for Epifanio Theobald. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Fülöp in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Tibor Fülöp made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1.
