Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Jeremiah Salter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Korneliusz Antoszewski in the 27th minute of the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Miroslav Smola made a huge save. After 30 played minutes DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Antoszewski. Miroslav Smola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremiah Salter in the 35th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Smola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Casaus in the 41st minute of the match. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeremiah Salter's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. After the first half DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miroslav Smola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremiah Salter struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Louis-Philippe De Fremeaux sent off a good shot on target. Chile's Alan Tamayo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Beniamin Blochowiak, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Miroslav Smola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 64th minute of play. Miroslav Smola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 72 minutes into the game, Chile's Orlando Casaus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslav Smola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 75th minute of play forced DACIA UNIREA BRĂILA's goalkeeper Miroslav Smola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Miroslav Smola handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslav Smola. Miroslav Smola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
