Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Renato Tapia started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Renato Tapia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Renato Tapia came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Real Club Celta de Vigo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Tapia couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the game, Renato Tapia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 14 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Nestor Araujo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Real Club Celta de Vigo booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Renato Tapia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Real Club Celta de Vigo's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Pepe Toxeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Rigoberto Mina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Real Club Celta de Vigo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renato Tapia in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Tapia's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Renato Tapia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Salvador Gisbert made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Patricio Costa however managed to control. Renato Tapia struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Club Celta de Vigo. Renato Tapia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Poli Urquijo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Salvador Gisbert in the 69 minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Tapia in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Renato Tapia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 0-6. 77 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pepe Toxeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Real Club Celta de Vigo got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Araujo. Venezuela's Alex Chicote managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Guillermo Marin in the 81 minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 89th minute of play. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a Real Club Celta de Vigo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Real Club Celta de Vigo booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Arias in the 93rd minute of the match. The Venezuela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Real Club Celta de Vigo's performance. The match ended with a win for Real Club Celta de Vigo.
