Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roy Offendahl in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Frölundaboys getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bertil Zachrisson hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Frölundaboys's Roy Offendahl ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The Honduras manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Frölundaboys to win.
