Frölundaboys's Claes Stenström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Frölundaboys from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Frölundaboys's goalkeeper Claes Stenström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abraham Alguacil. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Cambeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claes Stenström. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 15 minutes, Henry Vennerlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Frölundaboys and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bertil Zachrisson hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Claes Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 63rd minute of play forced Frölundaboys's goalkeeper Claes Stenström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 played minutes Frölundaboys got a freekick which was hit by Bertil Zachrisson. Claes Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The Panama fans cheered their team off the field, for while Frölundaboys had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
