A throw-in in the 26th minute of the game was made by Alex Chicote with Jose Correa as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. With his leg Shi Feng Zhen managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Vince Santo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SEFEROĞULLARI's supporters rose to their feet, but Vince Santo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The wind increased when Vince Santo made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Santo in the 52nd minute of play. Vince Santo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vince Santo in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When SEFEROĞULLARI's Vince Santo in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 78th match minute, SEFEROĞULLARI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Müjdat Özcan to maneuver through the defense. Shi Feng Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Abdulbaki Tuğtekin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SEFEROĞULLARI's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shi Feng Zhen came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With an all-out effort, SEFEROĞULLARI's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Berkem Bekata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of SEFEROĞULLARI booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Mariano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SEFEROĞULLARI walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
