Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Kurt Bure started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Geraldo Trullols tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Benknotorna's Gustav Siöberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Benknotorna's zone, Moises Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arvin Ekerot came out of the goal and Moises Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arvin Ekerot. Benknotorna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Johan Vall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Kurt Bure notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benknotorna's Arvin Ekerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 25th minute of play. Kurt Bure succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 34th playminute. Geraldo Trullols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Majman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Oskar Pihlwall kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Pihlwall made in the 47th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Geraldo Trullols. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Kurt Bure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benknotorna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Bure was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benknotorna's Arvin Ekerot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Benknotorna from getting a goal against them. Kenneth Majman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Sven-Oskar Pihlwall with Johan Vall as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Majman in the 73rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the game Sven-Oskar Pihlwall made a throw-in which Johan Vall played forward. 78 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Bure came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arvin Ekerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 81st minute of play. Edmundo Espiga was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 84th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Benknotorna's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
