The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Milian to make the kick off. Nicasio Unax stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Alphonse's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Feliciano Tadzio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Milian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Haiti players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
