Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simo Mihklisaar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 35th minute Antonio Indiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Colombia booed when Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simo Mihklisaar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zbigniew Zatorski to make the kick off. Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. 59 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Tony Thanos came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbigniew Zatorski in the 60th minute of play. Raphael Dantas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 61 minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristofer Peck in the 70th minute of play. Kevin Mastache was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute.
