Raphael Dantas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Carballar. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Simo Mihklisaar sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. In the 23rd match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dobromir Malewicki to maneuver through the defense. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 24th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Dantas saved Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting behind. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Zbigniew Zatorski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 38th playminute. Sílvio Luiz Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luiz Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Sílvio Luiz Vieira got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Raphael Dantas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Simo Mihklisaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Kristofer Peck was substituted for Simo Mihklisaar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Colombia's Axel Montenegro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raphael Dantas. Raphael Dantas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. In the 55th minute Tony Thanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kevin Mastache struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Raphael Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colombia. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Pascual Carballar got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the last second Raphael Dantas throw himself and got hold of the ball when Abram Sarmiento in the 61stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbigniew Zatorski in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristofer Peck in the 67th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raphael Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Quirino came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Giovani Luz was substituted for Laerte Romero. The throw-in from Sílvio Luiz Vieira in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. Raphael Dantas made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Raphael Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas got control of the ball when Santino Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line.
