Ant Man fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Noboa having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Kaapo Velikiy in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kaapo Velikiy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With an all-out effort, Peru's Kaapo Velikiy threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Murillo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the match, JuSi Malacky's Alan Shearer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Alan Shearer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Kaapo Velikiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 20th minute of play. Elias Manni made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andre Præstvang immediately put the ball in play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pane Boze in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Pane Boze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind JuSi Malacky's goalkeeper Kaapo Velikiy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pane Boze in the 34th minute of play. Pane Boze took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to JuSi Malacky getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Elias Manni hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Alan Shearer notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes, JuSi Malacky's Ant Man shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Noboa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JuSi Malacky reached it. With 56 minutes on the clock, Michal Bada commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Milagros Fraga kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 64th minute of the match, Ant Man got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolando Noboa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ant Man could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Kaapo Velikiy came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Andre Præstvang fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JuSi Malacky's protests and gave Andre Præstvang a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes JuSi Malacky got a freekick which was hit by Andre Præstvang. In the 72nd minute, Andre Præstvang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner ended in Alonso Berganza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JuSi Malacky's Kaapo Velikiy did a great save. In the 76th minute, Milagros Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaapo Velikiy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Furman. Kaapo Velikiy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 86th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Shearer in the 88th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, JuSi Malacky's Rafa Furman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. JuSi Malacky's Kaapo Velikiy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Gallo in the 98th minute of play.
