In the 45th minute, Sten Melberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Axel Montenegro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 51st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sten Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. George Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 66thth minute of the game Sten Melberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bedih Rafet kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerard Tan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Di Röe's George Kristiansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 87th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Abram Secada cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. George Kristiansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Knut Engström hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. George Kristiansson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Di Röe's George Kristiansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Di Röe from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
