Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sten Melberg got the match started through his kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Di Röe's Sten Melberg. But to his dismay, Sten Melberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macos Graciani during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Melberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Di Röe's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. George Kristiansson came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Facundo Cadaval. Bengt-Rune Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Zhu Bin Le. George Kristiansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Di Röe's Arnaldo da Fonseca was substituted for Sten Melberg. Di Röe's Knut Engström was substituted for Elliot Kellbom. The corner ended in Herman Benett almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. In the 71st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo da Fonseca in the 77th minute. Kent Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 1-2 became the score in the 83rd minute when Lautaro Mancebo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Arnaldo da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3.
