Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Abram Sarmiento hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Joe Herring recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Joe Herring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Herring, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Joe Herring received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pedro Manzanares came out and tried to block the shot, but Joe Herring slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Herring. After 27 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Axel Montenegro. Jerry Lodge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Montenegro's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Abram Sarmiento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerry Lodge was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Herring in the 37th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Valencia C.F. got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Farré ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Valencia C.F.'s zone, Axel Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Lodge came out of the goal and Axel Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jerry Lodge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joe Herring in the 54th minute of play. Antonio Indiano kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Claydon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jerry Lodge. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 62nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Joe Herring sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. 72 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s Joe Herring sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valencia C.F.'s Jerry Lodge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Valencia C.F. from getting a goal against them. Jerry Lodge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd match minute, Valencia C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Claydon to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Joe Herring kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Ignacio Mastache slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jerry Lodge. That made the score 3-4 after 90 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
