After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Edvard Kupits managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Koljala's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvard Kupits was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Koljala's Eero Treial was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, JK Koljala's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edvard Kupits, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After taking down the ball on JK Koljala's corner Rainer Vanamurd fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. Alari Värk kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. JK Koljala's Eero Treial played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 21st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edvard Kupits in the 23rd minute. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Kaur Vaasna made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 40th minute, Kaur Vaasna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JK Koljala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Rainer Vanamurd. If Kaur Vaasna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaur Vaasna was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janari Õunapuu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janari Õunapuu took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. JK Koljala's Kuno Viru was substituted for Edvard Kupits. Janari Õunapuu struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Koljala. In the 89th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Janari Õunapuu struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JK Koljala. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
