When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Acácio Vasco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 58th minute. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Acácio Vasco to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eurico Peixoto's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Eurico Peixoto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eurico Peixoto came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match Ibis Football Club got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ibis Football Club's Per-Oskar Nordstedt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kalidou Koulibaly's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kalidou Koulibaly helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ibis Football Club getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kalidou Koulibaly hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ibis Football Club's Acácio Vasco did a great save. Eurico Peixoto took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Arotza Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Acácio Vasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Peixoto in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Acácio Vasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
