Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Francisco Seco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Van Cauwenbergh in the 8th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alan Creemers sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. After a rather tough play, Racing Matinette's Ruben Van Der Taelen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Racing Matinette's Casper Jans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Racing Matinette from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. When Marquinhos Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Matinette's protests and gave Marquinhos Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Racing Matinette's Ivar Axelsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. The audience was convinced that Alan Creemers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthew Van Cauwenbergh in the 85th minute of play. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casper Jans having to interfere. Camilo Covarrubias's late challenge caught a Racing Matinette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Racing Matinette walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
