An unexpectedly hard shot by İnanç Erakıncı in the 4th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İnanç Erakıncı in the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th minute İnanç Erakıncı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sari Kanarya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that İnanç Erakıncı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Sari Kanarya came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sari Kanarya came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Sari Kanarya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. EdirneSpor's Sari Kanarya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 42nd minute of play forced EdirneSpor's goalkeeper Sari Kanarya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Sari Kanarya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Sari Kanarya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Sari Kanarya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sari Kanarya having to interfere. EdirneSpor's Sari Kanarya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, EdirneSpor's Muhsin Dikmen got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sari Kanarya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sari Kanarya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of play. Sari Kanarya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 85th minute of play. Mexico's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
