George Orwel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olavo Henriques was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, George Orwel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but George Orwel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Racing Club's Marcel Picka got his second yellow card of the match in the 96th minute. The referee ordered Marcel Picka off the ground. In the 97th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Picka to maneuver through the defense. Racing Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
