Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adão Rodrigues made the kick off which started today's match. Hipólito Figueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Ceuta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Monsanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adão Rodrigues in the 23rd minute of play. Aaron Alcocer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hipólito Figueira made a huge save. In the 26th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipólito Figueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adão Rodrigues in the 27th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valter Seixas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Ceuta FC's goalkeeper Hipólito Figueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. After 35 played minutes Ceuta FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Póvoas. In the 35th minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipólito Figueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 46th play minutes Adão Rodrigues shot 2-2, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 73 minutes into the game, Juan Rubio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ceuta FC the free kick. The supporters of Ceuta FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Adão Rodrigues. The supporters of Ceuta FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adão Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adão Rodrigues in the 78th minute of play. Aaron Alcocer took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipólito Figueira. Hipólito Figueira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Joaquim Baía fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adão Rodrigues in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Ceuta FC's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hermes Cruz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 88thth minute of the game Adão Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cristiano Monsanto hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Hipólito Figueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. The Costa Rica players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
