Lino Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 3rd minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zhang Liang Liang, made in the 8th minute of the game. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Lino Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 15th minute of play. Lino Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Albertinho Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lino Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Lino Mazza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The throw-in from Zhang Liang Liang in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. With an all-out effort, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albertinho Alagoano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 46th minute, Luz Tejedor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Lino Mazza made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Alagoano in the 57th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Zhang Liang Liang made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charalambos Vokolos in the 66th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 82 played minutes -BZF- Petrolul Berca got a freekick which was hit by Dong Xiong. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Dong Xiong got a free kick in the 84th minute. Eliseo Mina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Gallo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Lino Mazza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Petrolul Berca from getting a goal against them. In the 93rd minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Alagoano in the 94th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Zhang Liang Liang in the 95th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
