Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Henning in the 3rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If David Lebon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 7th minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Berthold Bach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Nixon in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Berthold Bach showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Che Doderer kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Luca Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Richard Nixon in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Che Doderer kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Berthold Bach saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after SV Klingsmoos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Luca Rouco to score against Berthold Bach in SV Klingsmoos's goal. 2-0 after 25 minutes. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Nixon, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torsten Henning went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berthold Bach saved SV Klingsmoos from getting behind. If David Lebon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Berthold Bach in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Torsten Henning came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luizão Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Luizão Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

David Lebon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Ghitã Pârlea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Berthold Bach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Nixon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torsten Henning in the 74th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Richard Nixon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Nixon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. SV Klingsmoos's Berthold Bach played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SV Klingsmoos's David Lebon got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when SV Klingsmoos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Valentine didn't get a good kick on the ball.
