The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Mexico. Joel Gaona stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mario Iturralde. 1-0. Mario Iturralde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of play forced Jamaicafastfoot's goalkeeper Mario Iturralde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Iturralde having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mario Iturralde made a huge save. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jamaicafastfoot's Amado Sayveon got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Mario Iturralde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 36th minute of the match. Lucas Haritz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th match minute, Jamaicafastfoot was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Haritz to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Florencio Velasco made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Amador Tebaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Mundo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mexico's goalie and right to Jairo Ellande. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mexico's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Iturralde having to interfere. Jamaicafastfoot's Mario Iturralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute of play. In the 77th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Iturralde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 79th minute of play forced Jamaicafastfoot's goalkeeper Mario Iturralde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Iturralde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Alberto Tafalla made a precise shot to the right of Mario Iturralde. Jamaicafastfoot's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
