Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Doriva Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Agüero in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Daniel Zorita put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Doriva Figueiredo. Doriva Figueiredo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Doriva Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Primitivo Andino got a free kick in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Guilherme Romero got free with Julio Vera in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Doriva Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 28th minute of the match. Luis Andino scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doriva Figueiredo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doriva Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonathan Galvão showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 37 minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After 40 played minutes Jucuitiba got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Vaz. In the 41st minute Felix Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Agüero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Agüero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Figueiredo was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Doriva Figueiredo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 60 minutes Jucuitiba's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Cristian Sancho drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind Jucuitiba's goalkeeper. Doriva Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 64th minute of the match. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 65th minute of play. Doriva Figueiredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Montenegro went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 72nd minute, Ecuador's Luis Andino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. With his leg Doriva Figueiredo managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doriva Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Guilherme Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play. With a little luck, Jucuitiba's Doriva Figueiredo got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Doriva Figueiredo in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
