Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Walther Jano however easily saved by the left post. Cristian Sancho came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Walther Jano could save by the left post. 13 minutes into the match, The Maquis's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Walther Jano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when The Maquis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lech Dudek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliver Smit kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Walther Jano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Walther Jano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliver Smit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Maquis's Walther Jano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save The Maquis from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pieter Wilhelm to strike the kick off in the second half. When The Maquis's Marco Walregt in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carsten Bont kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 2-2 in the 70 minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter Wilhelm in the 80th minute of play. Walther Jano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walther Jano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Niels Rooy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Walther Jano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niels Rooy might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niels Rooy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. The Maquis walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
