Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute of the match Protegéerna got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Näver ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Protegéerna's corner Michael Näver fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marco Day quite easily take care of the ball. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cassius Byrne. In the 23rd minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Bolo Skjold in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the game, Ulrik Söderlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Protegéerna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USA the free kick. After 27 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Ulrik Söderlund. 29 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Jakob Lundin came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Mcdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Bolo Skjold made a huge save. After 40 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Lundin. After 41 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Demesio.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petter Skarkman to make the kick off. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 51st minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Monty Rogers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bolo Skjold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Monty Rogers came free, but Bolo Skjold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diego Bradley kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 68th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 69th minute of play. After some careless play in the USA defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. Protegéerna's Jonny Ånger was substituted for Arman Lingren. Protegéerna made a substitution. Guido Python replaced Jakob Lundin. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. In the 79th minute Protegéerna were awarded a corner. Michael Näver went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Michael Näver almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but USA's Marco Day did a great save. In the 81st minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Khalid Parry notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold. Bolo Skjold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Day was a little too slow when Ulrik Söderlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 3-2. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Python in the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petter Skarkman in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 94 played minutes Protegéerna got a freekick which was hit by Ossi Eloranta. USA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
