Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dylan Schneider showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 27 minute of play. Cristobal Ixona's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristobal Ixona helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, one of JIANGSU FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JIANGSU FC. Joshua Secada shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dylan Schneider in the 35th minute. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dylan Schneider in the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Dylan Schneider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 42 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. 44 minutes into the match, Dylan Schneider had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dylan Schneider was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 80th minute, Cristobal Ixona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Dylan Schneider sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Schneider in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 郝誉雄 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Ocampo in the 97th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Schneider in the 100th minute of play.
