After 34 minutes of play, SV Klingsmoos's Richard Nixon made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torsten Henning in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ricardo Zorita prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Marco Tamayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Nixon came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Torsten Henning who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
