Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 17th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Villiam Arenius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Villiam Arenius made a huge save. In the 20th minute Adalberto Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Krzysztof Krawczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Mariusz Snow was substituted for Birant Şükran. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Figueiredo in the 26th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Villiam Arenius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Villiam Arenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 29th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Figueiredo in the 31st minute of the match. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Adalberto Figueiredo. But to his dismay, Adalberto Figueiredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Villiam Arenius firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krzysztof Krawczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mariusz Snow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Villiam Arenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Alpay İdil got a free kick in the 68th minute. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Napoleon Sebzda was substituted for Edgar Wejta. A collision led to Zagłębie Dąbrowskie getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alpay İdil hit a great ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Villiam Arenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Alpay İdil notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Mariusz Snow could shoot a difficult shot in the 75th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Elias Ayala sent off a good shot on target. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Villiam Arenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. Villiam Arenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Zagłębie Dąbrowskie getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alpay İdil hit a great ball. Villiam Arenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Mexico's Facundo Cadaval getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Adalberto Figueiredo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 92 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Villiam Arenius. Villiam Arenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
