After a rather tough play, Chile's Jose Manzanedo got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Dylan Van Bever left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Вежен fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Van Halen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Tamayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Dylan Van Bever's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martyn Efremov was slow to take the kick. During this time Вежен's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Martyn Efremov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a defensive mix-up in Вежен's zone, Mariano Lacasa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Van Halen came out of the goal and Mariano Lacasa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dylan Van Bever struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Thiago Pliego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Вежен. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Van Halen made a huge save.
