Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bona Dios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Bona Dios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 9th managed to get into a good position. After 13 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bona Dios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robert Plant kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Bona Dios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Fernández in the 32nd minute. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Polentzi in the 33rd minute of the match. Dario Estefan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Salvador Polentzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's goalkeeper Bona Dios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Dario Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Anacleto Soin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anacleto Soin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Robert Plant made a throw-in in the 58th minute of the game. Bona Dios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 67th minute of play. 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín's Anacleto Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Bona Dios successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 86th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bona Dios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Soin in the 91st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 【E ➣ Don Bosco Cosquín made a substitution. Guido Carrillo replaced Gaston Fernández. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. A sloppy throw-in by Julián Camino in the 94th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
