The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Guo Ling Nan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guo Ling Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 17th minute of the match. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Preslav Famparski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guo Ling Nan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milagros Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mincho Robledo to make the kick off. Chavdar Belezhkov scored 2-3 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rolando Noboa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guo Ling Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 96th minute of play. Peru played a much better game than THE CLUB and deserved their victory. The THE CLUB players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
