Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Maliğin Adamları the free kick. FC Maliğin Adamları's Reynaldo Napier got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Vincent Schlim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Vincent Schlim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hugo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazhar Falcıoğlu in the 14th minute of the match. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 20th minute of play forced FC Maliğin Adamları's goalkeeper Robustiano Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Maliğin Adamları booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Reynaldo Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. FC Maliğin Adamları were furious when Luka Bartz was red carded, 39 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 41st minute of the match Costa Rica got a corner. FC Maliğin Adamları's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Tasis ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Costa Rica's corner Axel Tasis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robustiano Mitxel quite easily take care of the ball. In the 42nd minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Maliğin Adamları's Reynaldo Napier got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Napier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. When Vincent Schlim came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC Maliğin Adamları fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent Schlim couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes in the game, Tristan Schmitz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Robustiano Mitxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 68th minute of the match. Robustiano Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Vincent Schlim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Mitxel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 82nd minute of play forced FC Maliğin Adamları's goalkeeper Robustiano Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Mitxel having to interfere. FC Maliğin Adamları's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
