Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gido Saelman, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 12th minute. In the 16th minute, Gido Saelman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Kenneth Kvarnström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. The audience was convinced that Ivan Vollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Cotilla was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Panama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After recieving a nice pass, Panama's Abraham Alguacil tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Tomas Berganza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gido Saelman, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Snett★inåt★bakåt booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Carita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Carvalhal took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 45 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Barrios. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Snett★inåt★bakåt were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice moves Ivan Vollander could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Abraham Alguacil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kenneth Kvarnström was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 62nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth Kvarnström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Snett★inåt★bakåt walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
