In the 28th minute 龙森铮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Red Bull FC got a freekick which was hit by 邱乐烨. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 龙森铮 in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 龙森铮 made a kick off. Red Bull FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but 龙森铮 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 顾辉皓 having to interfere. After 74 minutes, 龙森铮 made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute Juan Rubio suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Costa Rica's Alex Casaus was substituted for Juan Rubio. A collision led to Red Bull FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. 尹常青 hit a great ball. Red Bull FC's 顾辉皓 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Red Bull FC from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the match, 尹常青 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 尹常青 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After 86 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 龙森铮 who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that 龙森铮 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 88 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. When Red Bull FC's 何南奕 in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. 龙森铮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 95th minute, 龙森铮 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Red Bull FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
