Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. A very good chance for a goal. 96 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when 龙森铮 came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 龙森铮's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Paraguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Red Bull FC had won, even though Paraguay had held more of the ball.
