Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vyacheslav Korolev ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Delphine Stars's Liviu Gogu in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute of the match, Liviu Gogu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thiago Pliego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Gogu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Chile booed when Delphine Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Duldurescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Liviu Gogu. Delphine Stars's Fabian Kornecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Kornecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Kornecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Chile's Mariano Lacasa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabian Kornecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Fabian Kornecki came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Liviu Gogu in the 40th minute. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Delphine Stars players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chile were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Gogu in the 54th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Liviu Gogu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Delphine Stars's Fabian Kornecki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Delphine Stars from getting a goal against them. Fabian Kornecki acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Mariano Lacasa. 66 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Gogu came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play forced Delphine Stars's goalkeeper Fabian Kornecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabian Kornecki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Gogu in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 79 minutes, Liviu Gogu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Delphine Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Gogu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Kornecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Ştirbu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. In the 87th minute Liviu Gogu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Francisco Carballar hit a great ball. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Gogu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Ştirbu in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Chile's Pedro Indiano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Delphine Stars supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chile's performance. The match ended with a win for Chile.
