Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. 张常阳 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Jose Manzanedo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Venancio Salvino went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

张常阳 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 张常阳 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Venancio Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Salvino couldn't finish the play. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Zhuo Guang Xing was substituted for Wen Qing Bo. 张常阳 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Venancio Salvino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Salvino in the 76th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Venancio Salvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chile's Felix Garrido managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Froilan Diaz in the 91 minute of the game.
