Anders Andersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 10th minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Oakcroft Thrashers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christoffer Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute of play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christoffer Modig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Abram Sarmiento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Modig was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christoffer Modig. Christoffer Modig dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 30th of the match, Anders Andersson tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Pedro Manzanares got in the way and made a wonderful save. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jörn Holm in the 33rd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Jörn Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörn Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Jörn Holm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Carballar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Christoffer Modig made a huge save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Holm in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Jonasson in the 62nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Oakcroft Thrashers's Ingemar Jonasson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Oakcroft Thrashers's Christoffer Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 76th minute of play. Ludwig Ståhlman made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ingemar Jonasson however managed to control. 84 minutes in the game Ludwig Ståhlman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ingemar Jonasson. 85 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Jonasson came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ingemar Jonasson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kevin Mastache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Modig saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignacio Mastache's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Christoffer Modig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
